Columbus Library Reading Gardens
Georgia Development Partners with Batson-Cook was awarded the contract for the Children’s Reading Gardens in July of 2008 by the Columbus Regional Library System. The Reading Gardens consist of an inter-linking mosaic of parks and outdoor learning areas surrounding the new regional library. The project included an outdoor amphitheater, stone pathways, overhead shade structures, pergolas, trellis system, stone seating walls, gardens, broad lawn areas, gated controlled access, masonry and architectural walls, furnishings, and sculptures.
