DB Newnan Hancock Tract Design-Build
Along with The City of Newnan, Georgia Development Partners and its design-build team worked to complete the expansion and landscaping of the parking facility for the Newnan Historical Society complex. The project was comprised of 12,960 SF of parking lot pavers, 15,940 SF of asphalt paving, patching and overlay, striping, concrete sidewalks with brick banding, and landscaping. Due to the size of the site, Georgia Development Partners and its design team creatively worked with the City to implement an underground stormwater detention system utilizing the pervious pavers and gravel infiltration system to maximize parking spaces, allowing the owner to keep over half of its parking spaces. This was the fourth design-build contract in three years that the City awarded to GDP and was completed in two phases.
