East Jesters Creek Stream Restoration
The Clayton County Water Authority hired GDP to restore over 3,550 linear feet of stream and streambanks along Jesters Creek in Morrow, Georgia. The channel refurbishment included 150 tons of Toe Boulders, 18 Cross Vanes, 8 J-Hook Vanes, 18 J-Hook Log Vanes, 5 Log Sills, and over 650 linear feet of Soil Encapsulated Lifts. Bank Stabilization efforts involved over 17,000 square yards of Bio-D mats, 14,300 dead stakes, 5,500 trees and shrubs, and 7,000 live stake plantings. GDP completed the projects 60 days ahead of schedule, and the design engineer gave high remarks on the execution and success of the installation.
