Georgia Tech Eco-commons
The Georgia Institute of Technology awarded GDP with a design build contract to design and construct a 900 square foot, cantilevered concrete multi use space on the rear of the Materials Science and Engineering Building. The new public commons overlooks the President's House and contains stainless steel outdoor seating, stainless steel cable railings, site lighting, and extensive landscaping. The project also included a portion of the campus connectivity plan by installing a paved pathway from the Tennis Center on Fowler Street through the Eco-Commons and out to the North Area Parking Deck on Atlantic Drive.
