Lynch Park Newnan Family Aquatics Center
In 2009, GDP entered into a design build contract with the City of Newnan that was based off of a Guaranteed Maximum Price that was not to exceed pricing estimates given from a narrative scope of work provided by the client. The project scope called for GDP to demolish a 1930’s pool and bathhouse and lead in the design and the construction of a new 2,000 square foot building that contained locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, and employee office space. The new aquatic elements consisted of a 78,800 gallon pool, a “zero entry” pool deck, and a spiraling water slide. GDP installed all new utilities to the building, completed all hardscaping elements, and planted new landscaping around the complex.
