Morrow Station Town Center
Georgia Development Partners, jointly with Batson-Cook, was selected in May 2007 by The City of Morrow and the Georgia Department of Transportation to construct Morrow Station Town Center. Funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission's LCI (Livable Centers Initiative) program allowed for the development of a new town square on State Route 54 adjacent to Clayton State University. GDP coordinated planning and constructed the new square that will serve as a catalyst and as a central outdoor activity area for new office, residential, and commercial development. The new town center also provides the infrastructure for the integration of future plans for an inter-modal facility that includes passenger rail station and bus drop-offs, along with an amphitheater to hold informal concerts and public events. The adjacent National Archives, office, retail, and housing provide a new community center to live, work, and play for the City of Morrow.
